On March 18th, 2007, Fun 4 Kidz
held our 2nd annual Kidz Combine at
the Orange Bowl Stadium. members
from the University of Miami football
team along with olympic track star
Lauryn Williams and NFL player
Roscoe Parrish ran a round robin of
athletic clinics ranging from conditioning
drills to quarterback passing
lessons.
Children from the Community
Partnership for Homeless, Children’s
Home Society, Camillus House, and
His House Children’s Home had a
great time running relays and playing
with the athletes. After the clinic, the
children enjoyed Casolas Pizza while
listening to music played by Jammin’
Jorge from Power 96 radio station.
The day concluded with a carnival
presented by Mega Parties. The children
climbed a rock wall, slid down
the saber tooth slide, bounced on the
bounce house, and challenged the
bungee run while enjoying cotton
candy and snow cones. Students
from Miami Killian Senior High School
served as this years volunteers. All in
all, this years Kidz Combine was a
huge success.
